Please explain in full the details about the place where there was a problem?

There are areas in Kapisa province where the level of literacy among women and girls is very low, including the capital of Kapisa province (Mahmoud Raqi).

There are villages in the centre of Kapisa where women and girls did not have access to knowledge and education and to any free business, and it caused many women and girls to not be able to meet their needs.

Fortunately, by identifying areas and providing financial support, Window of Hope Social Organization was able to meet the needs of women and girls, and many women have become self-sufficient and have free jobs.

Literacy training success story

Problem Description and Story Details:

My name is Pulwasha, a 27-year-old woman with four children. I live in a village in the center of Kapisa province called Haruki Alia. Like every other Afghan woman, I face thousands of challenges, from poor economic conditions to my children's rare diseases, my husband's unemployment, the lack of conditions for me to continue my education, and a thousand and one other problems. The most painful part of my life is that my three children, two daughters, aged 7 and 3, and a son, aged 6 months, have been paralyzed since birth and there is no way to treat them. This is very disappointing for me. However, my other child, a 5-year-old girl, is healthy and strong. I had a hard life full of hardships. My husband is unemployed and we earn our living through farming. This is not enough for us because my children need better medicine and care. I also dreamed of having a job where I could earn a good income. Fortunately, a window of hope opened for me. During a survey conducted by the Window of Hope Social Organization in April 2024, my family was identified and I was introduced to a sewing workshop.
